    Re: Build or buy? Thanks guys. The distance I'm looking at shooting is 600 yards at this point. This is not going to be a competition rifle and yes I am currently reloading everything I put down range.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold question

    Based on some of the posts on here I almost hate to ask this question. Seems like athere are lot of Leupold haters out there. Can someone tell me what the equalivate is to a older (5-7 yr) Var-X II Is the VX-3 equal to the Var-XII or is it the other way around?
