    I had similar failure to feed/lock back issues with a JP chambered in 260. The solution in the end was nothing more than adjusting the gas block so that it cycled properly. After which, she ran like a champ.

    I set the brass in a piece of wood. Stand back 10 meters, and use them as a target for the air rifle. Makes it easy to know when you hit the center!

    Keep the info coming - Hard to say what the issue is - Seems to me, that you are either going to have to take some serious action to get it to work, or go back to the JP trigger. (Which is usually a very good trigger as well) Following this thread very closely. Thanks for photos

    I can add an extra level to this....I also spilled about 500gns last week. But, being the lazy type, I sweeped it onto the driveway and then threw a match to the pile. Not exactly smart, but certainly was entertaining!

    Barrel life on 338 LM

    Will depend greatly on the round (300gn-250gn) and load. I shot out the barrel on my AI AX-338 after about 2000 rounds using 250gn Lapua Scenars with an average speed of 3025fps (96gns of N570). In this case, "shot out" meant that the group opened up to about 1.5MOA to 2.0MOA. At 1000 yards...
