    Re: Savage first round fliers??? I haven't notice any first round flier with my TR. I have a CZ 452 Varmint that had this problem to start with but a good cleaning letting the cleaner soak for a while , then i brushed it out really good and the problem went away.

    Re: Fvsr Build I don't have the FVSR, Mine is the TR , i used TPS Low rings and a Mueller APT. Really like the Mueller scope clear all the way up to 14 power best 180.00 i have ever spent on a scope.

    Re: Savage Mark II TR as a practice rifle? I use the Mueller APT 4.5-14X40 On my TR. If you have the 500-600 to spend on a scope then you could go with a better one than the Mueller. For the money you can not beat the Mueller , all three of mine are clear all the way to 14 power.
