    AR 15 brass ejection marks

Re: AR 15 brass ejection marks One of the things you might do is change out to a heavier buffer and slow the bolt down, possibly change the spring (like red springs or Tubbs) out too and/or use an adjustable gas block. It sounds like you're over gassed if it's really denting the case.

5 FTFIRE with reloads for 223, WHY?

Re: 5 FTFIRE with reloads for 223, WHY? What about your trigger group springs? How many rounds have you sent down range with this lower/trigger combination? I'm just raising the possibility that it might not be the ammo but inconsistent primer strikes. In all likelihood it is probably your...

Rifle Scopes Poll and Feedback on fixed 10x.

Re: Poll and Feedback on fixed 10x. If you can even consider USO optics, I don't know why you wouldn't pull the trigger on this and buy it. The other scopes you list are good - I prefer USO. But it's like anything out there - personal preference

    Movie Theater "Bomb Patrol Afghanistan"

Re: "Bomb Patrol Afghanistan" I have enough crap rolling around in my head to not add to it by watching shows like this. 28 years in and it ended with an IED attack on my convoy (leadership took us on the wrong route, uncleared). Coupled with a well coordinated but brief mortar strike on...

    Movie Theater Sons of Guns

Re: Sons of Guns I never cared for the reality TV aspects of this show and others like it. Some of the firearms they deal with are very interesting - the personal drama? No. I don't waste my time on it.

    Stainless Steel Media Testimonials

Re: Stainless Steel Media Testimonials I would also love contact information on obtaining stainless steel media. I reload for 5.56/6.8/30.06/.308 and .45 After trying vibratory, the ultrasonic both methods leave a lot to be desired in outcomes, level of effort and time. Picking my Thumler...

Keep 6.8 or trade for .223

Re: Keep 6.8 or trade for .223 Hmmm....I had 2 6.8 uppers and 1 5.56 upper all for 1 lower. I ended up selling the 20" 6.8 upper as it was just not what I needed, too heavy, the rail "real estate"was endless and it just didn't see any love from me. My 16"6.8 is used all the time and I love...

    AR15 jamming / Malfunctioning

Re: AR15 jamming. Do you know anyone else with an AR15 platform? You could try running your mag in their rifle and see if they come up with the same issues. I'm wondering if you aren't under gassed? Does your bolt go all the way to the rear when it attempts to extract the round?

    My Counterfeit MAGPUL Experience

Re: My Counterfeit MAGPUL Experience It's amazing how many products are out there that are knock offs - and sell themselves as who they are knocking off. I hesitate to buy anything on ebay, even gunbroker at times as the "deal" seems too good to be true. It leaves with pretty much tried and...

No love for Geissele Match or DMR?

Re: No love for Geissele Match or DMR? I have the SSA-E in one of my rifles (6.8) - and am considering adding it to my 5.56. Switching rifles is jarring as the trigger pull on my 5.56 is standard mil-spec grade. I love how cleanly and predictably the SSA trigger breaks.
