    Re: First attemps at making a couple knives. Love the top knife blade profile. Good looking work, especially for your first knife! Who is the fellow in AL doing the Damascus? I am not far from the AL line. There is a custom knife maker in Dallas, GA, but I don't think he does his own damascus.

    I have been out of the AR game for a while (heck, just shooting in general). I am looking at building a 20 or 22" AR and want to use something like the Noveske Switchblock with my M42k suppressor. Is Noveske the only person doing a 3 position gas block with a std gas system? If not, who else...

    Re: New Georgia Match Joe's range is ~500yds. 500yd range is only open on certain days. The only other range that gets close to 800yds is Gun Site Hills, chief is somewhere around 750+/-yds. And he is over next to Athens, GA. The only thing out to 1K around ATL is private land.

    Re: New Georgia Match Thats cool. I enjoy shooting 308 more than any other cal. I do think there should be 3 classes: 223, 308 & open (limited to 300WM). No need to discourage the guys shooting their 20" AR15s against 26" 300WM's, 7WSM's or 243's.
