    Lol I get the point your making but If given a choice why not set it up to be able to get the full 26mils that is available to the user. To answer your question 1740m @23mils from a 6SLR. And if I had the extra 3mils I could reach all the way out to 1830. ;)

    I think you should consider a 40moa base instead. My Steiner 5-25 mounted in a TRG 3-ring mount (30moa) gives me 23mils up. Will probably take a 40moa base to get the full 26mils on the turret.

    Rifle Scopes S&B PMII Ultra Short 3-20x50 info

    Yes, the two outside scopes in the pic are the same: 3-20x50 PMII Ultra Short. Apparantly this scope was developed in response to a military request for a scope that is dimensionally smaller than the 3-20 PMII but with a lower bottom end magnification than the 5-20 PMII Ultra Short offered.

    While I like the KRG (buddy has one), but I think the evolutionary improvements made to the AX chassis make it the one I'd choose. Like said already not a lot of significant difference between them but perhaps the grip angle may be somthing to consider when comparing ergo's.

    Why would you try to operate the scope in a manner in which it was not designed to perform? Do you really require more than 26mils elev.? Use the reticle for holds after 26mils.

    I think you're over thinking it. I have 3 TRG's(2-22's, 1-42) and they all demonstrate what you are describing. If you were to remove the firing pin assembly and refit the bolt and close it you will see how much free play there is. This is normal.

    6 Competition Match vs 6 Crusader

    I recently had a TRG-22 rebarreled to 6mm SLR. 105gr Scenars cooking along at 3270 with no obvious signs of pressure. Dont really see the need to chamber in the Crusader. I'd say go 6CM or similar.
