Re: My rifle shoots like a shotgun! Although the rifle is bedded check and see if there is play between the recoil lug and its bearing surface - there should be NONE, check your float between the forend and barrel, with such a light barrel it might be 'flipping' (hitting) off the barrel...- NOMISS

Thats my Unique Alpine TPG-1 meaning Tactical Precision Rifle, the rifle has a quick change barrel so i can change caliber with a new barrel in about three minutes using the same bolt as long as the heads of the cases are the same and chamber...- NOMISS

JRose, I would get a normal table vice (secured with bolts to a strong table) and using a vernier caliper measure a section of the barrel as close to the reciever as possible that has little or no taper, when you get the measurement try and get a...- NOMISS

I have a Leica 900 Scan for years now, i have had it in all kinds of horrible weather and it has taken a lot of knocks and dings, the Leica's are very good value for money and extremely hard wearing, maybe do get a hard box for it, but i sling mine around...- NOMISS

Re: Zero Distance for 308 I have my Remington 40XB zeroed at 300 yards, its a long range SWS, and i shoot long range - so why not have it zeroed at least to a third of the range i shoot? Anyway i was always instructed to keep my patrol zero at 300 yards. I have my hold under for 50 to 250...- NOMISS
