    I shoot an obermeyer 260 with a tight bore. I am using 4350. Started at 42.5 and worked up to 43.8 in a lapua case with wolf or CI primers. Wish I could find more 4350.     Refreshing to see so many people who have realistic assessments of what it takes to connect at that range/target. I'd agree with the consensus that 500 yd with an 8" would be doable with a good position, minimal time constraints, good data.

    If accuracy and trigger time are the main concern, I would highly recommend the daisy Avanti 853. Single stroke pump gives ~400 fps, which is plenty for punching paper. Accuracy is awesome. Buy some pellets and start shooting. I made a bullet trap years ago with 3/4" plywood to make a box...

    I haven't had time to read through all the recent posts again, but I would really like to be able to enter a range/wind/direction instead of using the slider/wheels and have it spit out a correction.

    What does your dope say for the day? Does it match up with a velocity of 2850 or 3050? If your scope has adjustments at are true, you should be easy enough to tell the difference between 200fps at that range.

    Re: what temp variation for H4350 in shooter app? My 260 has shown about 0.5fps/F over the last years data between 28F and 92F from multiple Chrono readings as well as cold versus warm ammo testing last spring.

    Re: Ballistic AE .. what is it missing that you want.. I would like to see the truing function allow for use with mil values instead of inches as a majority of shooters will be recording the field data (hits made at 4.2 mils) instead of trying to record that it was 6" low at a given range.
