I will be strictly plinking with the 200gr SST's and have no intention of hunting with them. (Range fodder shooting steel.) Bottom line, I want a SAFE sub load that will NOT blow up in my face. 300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads
I purchased some Gallant .30 Caliber/ .310mm Flat Point 240gr bullets and plan on using N120 powder for plinking sub loads. I would like to develop a safe load around 1,050fps? (16" barreled bolt action). Can someone recommend a starting load?- Stugots

"I tend to shoot the 300 gr Berger 15.8 gr IMR4198 and the 300 SMK 15.8 gr of AA 1680 for subs. With accurate results." Can you give me the case pressure for these loads? Curious to know your thoughts on the quality of Starline brass also.- Stugots

I went with a 16" - 1.2" straight McGowen cut rifled 1-6.5" twist barrel that I should have back in about 8 weeks or so.
