    Rifle is going to be rebarrelled to a shorter .260 and will still be my FTR/Tac Match rifle. Figuring .22-24" barrel, and shorter/lighter can. I'm enjoying a little sticker shock right now also, that's a lot of money for a stock. Then again, little about competitive shooting rewards...

    I'm running a 700 in .308 with a 26" barrel and a YHM 7.62 can on it. Makes for a long weapon. I carry it in an Eberlestock X3 Lo Drag, and the muzzle is and easy foot or more over my head. At muzzle-down ranges the stock sticks up as well. I'm looking to shorten it for easier packing...
