    **6 Creedmoor**

Not Nosler, but any 105 at 40.0 - 41.5gr of H4350, and ~2.800 OAL is kind of the sweet spot. I have a barrel that shoots the 107 SMK well at 40.0, and the same barrel shoots the 108 ELD-M great at 41.0. From my understanding, the Nosler RDF seems to be a bit more seating depth sensitive. So...

But it's cool. We all have to play with cool stuff from time to time... even if it turns out to be a dud later. I'm playing with a 7-300PRC. Cool, but it isn't turning out as cool as I wanted it to be in my mind.

Neighbor's horses in my property problem (texas)

The country is also home of the 'turnabout is fair play'. So before one goes around threatening, shooting, or being a general asshole... might want to consider what is at stake. Would be a real shame if your stuff got vandalized, stolen, or burned to the ground. That isn't some threat that...

Neighbor's horses in my property problem (texas)

Yeah, I have someone else's horses on my property pretty frequently... and I don't consider myself blessed. Fortunately it is easy to run them back up to my neighbor and close his gate. They get into shit they're not supposed to. Don't be a fag and take care of your own animals. Took a dog...

Neighbor's horses in my property problem (texas)

As a dude who owns cattle in the state to your north, I'll say that several points above are spot on. Stretching a strand or two of braided hot wire isn't going to run you more than $500. As the owner of animals, it is your responsibility to keep them on your land. Now that we know that they...

    **6 Creedmoor**

My experience with Bergers (non-elite hunters) are that they typically need a bit more penetration to function like the advertisements show (i.e. I haven't had any open up early on smaller game yet). They will blow chunks out of a coyote, but those chunks are from the bullet just starting to...

    **6 Creedmoor**

Well this is exactly what I didn't want to read today. I've had fantastic success with the 130gr ELD-M at 2,785 FPS out of a 6.5x47 on 'yotes. I have a 6CM that shoots the 108 ELD-M like a laser, and it is sitting by the door, waiting to be tested. With the 130 ELD-M, I have a sample size of...

    .260 Remington

I tried two boxes of factory ammo to sight in and start the breaking in (I don't really break in a barrel much). One box was factory Hornady 130gr ELD-M, the other was Sako 136gr Scenar-L. The 136s didn't shoot all that well...about .8ish. So all I've done is start load development with the...

I hand-tight my barrels, and use a calibrated guess for torquing the screw with the Allen wrench provided under the cheek piece. Purists are going to be upset at me for not unraveling my $3,500 AI torque driver roll, and wearing a $600 lab coat for swapping my barrels back and forth... ...but...

    .260 Remington

Shot a quick 5-rounder at 650 yards to verify that my old, cheap chronograph was giving me a correct reading of 2,800 FPS...it was dead-on. The load (I cut the seating depth difference): And when I verified that it wouldn't suck at 250 a couple weeks ago (about a half-minute again)...

Am I just trash with an AR?

Ah yes, the famous 20 shots in high winds that is about 40% smaller than the benchrest record...WITH an AR no less. We will back that up now with equally impressive shooting at 165 yards with a .44 magnum handgun. You Sir, are officially "legendary" now! Sir...I guess I need to hire you to...

    Cheap coyote gun help

I think the Ruger or Salvage should generally work, especially if "cheap" is one of the main concerns. You can alo find the less expensive Tikka models in .22-250 and .243 as well... although you may have to step up to a CTR to get it threaded from the factory.

    Muzzle velocity difference between manufacturers

-The twist rate is what is going to determine bullet stability most (based off of bullet length mostly). Velocity is that small, fractional portion of the equation. -A 20 inch barrel will not compromise inherent rifle accuracy at any distance. - Your skill, bullet construction, and...

    GRT 6GT help

This is one of those responses where you can't really answer truthfully. Sometimes I go into my reloading room and it is Christmas all over again when I open up a box.

Recently got a TRG 22 A1 off of Connor, but in .260 Rem. Fantastic price and service. I don't know if it scratched my original TRG itch though...

    GRT 6GT help

That better price than Varget or H4350 (or anything else Hodgdon/IMR) is what is going to drive the N100 series into that unobtainable status. I've switched from H4350 to N160 in my .260 Rem, and will probably do it again in other similar cartridges. It definitely requires a full case, and...

    GRT 6GT help

N150 is the secret sweet spot for the 6GT in my opinion. I'd better get after it and buy another keg before it goes unobtanium. Some barrels run Varget better, some do H4350 better (have one of those). N150 cuts the difference, and gives great velocity too. I know OP wants the computer...
