Interesting. I thought if you had the lock removed the turrets stayed in the down condition.

Keep in mind when that the optic rail is basically on top of the stock. If you go too low you will lose the comb adjustment.

The Garmin Xero is smaller than the backup battery packs people are using to keep the Labradars running.

I ordered this morning from Cabelas and received tracking info just after midnight. FedEx has the package and it is on it's way and will be here Monday. I would have liked to have supported CS Tactical by buying one from him but I am out of work and have almost $900 in Cabelas gift cards I have...

I changed mine out to a Seekins and like it. I put a Sawtooth Rifles Arca rail on it and it is like it came that way from the factory. Not mine but here is what the combo looks like - https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/fs-completely-decked-out-rpr-sold.7036196/

Don't worry Ruger will do all that on their Gen2 release.

Ruger SFAR small frame 308, 6.8 pounds

Yes but they also put on an adjustable gas block that restricts the gas flow. While Ruger went huge on the port size and blew it in execution I would think having a larger gas port would be something you would want with this type of configuration.

    Is that a 16" or 20" barrel?

PSA is not an option for me. They will not ship anything - and I mean ANYTHING - to MA.

Ruger SFAR small frame 308, 6.8 pounds

I am seeing a lot of problems with the SFAR. There is a thread on ar15.com with lots of problems like: - the gas block contacting the rail - not cycling - finicky when it comes to ammo - not the greatest customer support from Ruger Lots of people over there are swapping out the gas blocks. I...

Ruger SFAR small frame 308, 6.8 pounds

For the Ruger it seems to be the typical Ruger - you either get a good one or a bad one. I have seen reports of guys shooting MOA and they run fine to rifles that shoot all over the place and will not reliably function. I do not like all the holes Ruger put in the upper receiver and bolt...

Ruger SFAR small frame 308, 6.8 pounds

I asked this in another SFAR thread on another site and never really received an answer. The SFAR's are going for ~$1k. I can get a POF Rogue for ~$1600. Does anyone on here have experience with both rifles that can say the Rogue is worth the extra $600 or not?
