    22 Creed / 95 SMK Thread -

I am not sure on the freebore, my COAL is 2.800" and running them at .023" of jump. I will inquire on the freebore and let you know. I ran into some pressure with H1000 and would have stopped at 44.6, but shot the last few as the bolt lift was not too bad and the brass was looking fair. I...

    22 Creed / 95 SMK Thread -

I have been working on load development on a 22 Creed. I am working with the 88 ELDM and the 95 SMK as this is what the gunsmith set it up to run. I am working with H4350 and H4831sc on the 88 ELDMs and then H4831sc and H1000 on the 95 SMK. I did run a little RL26 on the 88 ELDs but since it...

    Berger 185gr Juggernauts

Warner Flatlines 180s at... .025 jump which gave me about 3.220 OAL (so no way to magazine feed them in a short action). H4895 was really good, I ran them up to 43.0 grains which was about 2730 FPS, but ended in the mid 42’s which a nice flat spot from 42.4 to 42.7.

    Thanks to Evolved Ballistics

When I started this project I wanted to shoot out to 1,000 yards, be around 105 for bullet weight, and I wanted a semi-auto. I wanted to do something different; which is not always beneficial as things are less proven and tend to evolve quicker. But that being said, I decided on a 6 CM. When...

Which cartridge for 6mm gas gun for PRS style matches?

I ran a JP barrel with a 107 SMK at 15 thou jump, this gave me a 2.791 overall case length. This combination worked best in Magpuls; though, Larue mags have more room. The 107 SMK feed well, but I did have issues with other bullets. I have since switch to a different barrel and can report on...

    Thanks to Evolved Ballistics

Little difference, the proof did feel a little lighter, but not not a lot. The Proof is a longer barrel and has a very different contour so it is not a great apples to apple comparison. Now, when I compare a 26" Heavy Palma and a 26" Proof Sendero, that is a huge difference. More than just...

    Thanks to Evolved Ballistics

I was able to get it put together last night; I didn't realize the gas block was smaller than the JP barrel so had to order a new gas block. Thanks to Rainer Arms for getting me a Superlative gas block ASAP!!! Talked to Proof, suggest some 108 ELD-Ms, going to run the rest of my loaded 107...

    Thanks to Evolved Ballistics

I am updating an AR 6 Creed Barrel; called Evolved Ballistics and they were able to answer some questions and get a barrel out to me quickly and at a great price. Would suggest giving them a try!

    6 Creedmoor AR-10 Loads

Update... Ended up running some H4831SC and had great results and then tried some 95 Classic Hunters with H4350 and had good results.

Anyone using a JP thermal dissipator. Opinions?

I have a JP Barrel in a 6 Creedmoor and the thermal dissipator; have always had it on so no comparison running with vs. without. I do notice the hand guard is warmer than other ARs I have... Accuracy is pretty good, don't know how it would get better.... 107 SMKs with H4350 or H4831SC for plates...

    SportOptics

Great people to work with; bought a few NF scopes from them... on one of them ""I"" botched PayPal transaction and they went above and beyond to help me straighten it out. It was not their fault nor did they need to help me out but they did; I would highly suggest them!!!
