    Sidearms & Scatterguns Xds owners?

Well I got out with the XDS on Friday afternoon. Great gun. I put 150 rounds thru it with no issues at all. Shoots poa poi at 10 yards, groups well and functions 100%. I found the recoil to be not bad at all. Keeper. Mike

    Ruger American Rifle .308

I bought one last year in 308 as a back up hunting rifle. Its a good, well built gun. It gets 1 moa with three shot groups and 1.5 moa with 5 shot groups, with my 150 handloads. My dad just moved out west from a shotgun only state and was impressed with mine and bought himself one in 30-06...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Wilson Combat Mag cost at Scheels

Prices around here for Wilson 47D 8 round magazines seem to be running around $35-$38, I will check the price at Scheel's next time I am in Great Falls and see what they are running there.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Kimber problem

The firing pin safety on the kimber is operated when the grip safety is engauged not when the trigger is pulled like on a colt series 70. I would just call Kimber, tell them whats up and ask for them to email you a shipping label and have them repair it for you. Research on the 1911 forum...

I currently have a Brown Kobra Carry LW and love it. I have had Wilson's, Brown's, Nighthawk's, and Baer's. They are all great guns. I still have the Brown, the others have moved on.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns 9mm recommendation

I had an EMP 9mm a couple years ago, it was a good gun, reliable and accurate. I think the initial reliability issues were with the 40's. If you like the 1911 platform and want a 9mm the EMP would be a good one.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 19 First Time Stimple

I have a gen 3 O.D. Green 19 that I have been wanting to do, but I haven't got up the nerve to do it because the O.D.'s are rare, but I will probably never let it go, my 17's turned out good, not sure if I should go for it or not.......

Done setting up my new "everything" gun!

Nice set up. I have on as well, I went with the Leupold scout scope on mine, it shoots pretty good that way. I like the way you have yours set up. Mike

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking for a custom 1911

Nothing at all wrong with a VBOB, I have one, I think it is one of the best deals going for a factory gun. If you side by side it with the Ed Brown they are both very nice guns, the Ed Brown does have better fitting, its hard explain unless you have them side by side and can "feel" the...
