    My CZ452VT

Re: My CZ452VT That is a bad ass looking setup! Varmints beware! Does that gun have the single set trigger? My 22lr 452 had that and I loved it. I used to own a Savage 17HMR, and it was a tack driver...I expect the CZ to be the same. Only reason I got rid of it was any kind of wind blows...

New Rem XCR Compact tactical 308 Build advice

Re: New Rem XCR Compact tactical 308 Build advice Sounds like a great setup...leave the bolt alone. All fluting will do is shave off a few ounces.

Rifle Scopes Scope for Remington 700 VS

Re: Scope for Remington 700 VS I would go with a variable. I have used fixed power scopes in the past and I have always found myself wishing I had gone with a variable. Just remember that with a mil-dot reticle, the mil-dots are only correctly calibrated at the maximum magnification...

    Timing a Surefire Mount

Re: Timing a Surefire Mount All you are really "timing" is the adapter so that the suppressor's 'top' in at 12 oclock. Does not have to be dead nuts on center, just good enough so that it doesnt bother you.

    Photos OBR 16"

Re: OBR 16" That is my thinking also. I have talked to a few people that said the 16" will have the least amount of impact shift when suppressed because the shorter barrel is more rigid.

    SBRing a SCAR 16

Re: SBRing a SCAR 16 I have a few friends that have done it. It works out fine. For a while, there was the thought that they might have a taper bore, which could not be a good thing to cut. The only advise I have is to find a good gunsmith that is confident he can cut a chrome-lined...

    Photos OBR 16"

Re: OBR 16" What kind of accuracy are you seeing...group size and ranges, please. I am trying to decide between the 18" or 16" OBR, and I am having a hard time finding anyone that has done a side-by-side comparison of the two (or three) barrel lengths.

    How's this TRG 42 deal?

Re: How's this TRG 42 deal? I'd say you did pretty good...those bipods and muzzle breaks are worth a small fortune. It's hardly broken in at 500 rounds.

    clean the copper in barrels?

Re: clean the copper in barrels? If you use a copper solvent, understand that your point of impact/groups may change for the first 10-20 rounds until that copper layer can be redeposited. I have used copper solvent once, and I will never use it again...my groups went to hell for 20 rounds or...

    Best "affordable" 22 out there

Re: Best "affordable" 22 out there I've got a Savage MkII FV-SR. I love it and it's a tack driver. It already came threaded 1/2x28 for a suppressor and a 1-piece rail factory installed. The stock is just the plain polymer style, but it works. I re-stocked it with a Boyd's Tacticool stock...

    Remington 700 AAC-SD

Re: Remington 700 AAC-SD I run Lapua 200gr sub sonics in my 700 AAC. They shoot well, 1"-2" groups @ 100M...just remember that they drop 24" @ 100M. I do not get any keyholing, and they sound great with my AAC 762SD attached.
