Rifle Scopes Falcon Menace 4-14x FFP Copy by Famous Maker Pics

Re: Falcon Menace 4-14x FFP Copy by Famous Maker P I've been watching this thread for a while - popcorn and beer - well mostly cider actually. I don't own a Falcon Menace but I'm well aware that they are the lowest priced scope available that offer FFP and matched turrets/reticles. They...

    Sako TRG Bipod

Re: Sako TRG Bipod Harris bipod 'tinny and cheap' ? I think that many including myself would disagree with you there. The Sako bipod is certainly very stable and the low center of gravity is a bonus. However it is heavier than the Harris and it's ability to fold forward or backward...

Rifle Scopes Falcon Menace 4-14x FFP Copy by Famous Maker Pics

Re: Falcon Menace 4-14x FFP Copy by Famous Maker P If you want to know where Falcon Optics scopes are sourced/ assembled, I suggest you ask them. That's what I did. But who want's a copy of an already reasonably priced optic that performs well for it's cost?

    Rifle Scopes F-Class Glass???

Re: F-Class Glass??? I agree with R Tac on the idea of using the NP R1 on the NXS to 'box' the target . Last time I shot at 1000 to 1200 at Bisley the rain and mist was sometimes so bad that using the hash marks to box the black was more useful than trying to put the cross hairs in the middle...

    6XC opinions

Re: 6XC opinions 81 That particular day was an informal competition for the British Sporting Rifle Club. It was shot at the Stickledown Range at Bisley, England which has firing points from 800 to 1200 yards.

    6XC opinions

Re: 6XC opinions Not to detract from Steve's outstanding five v bulls in succession , considering the pissing rain ( ahh springtime in the UK). But the standard long range V bull is a whopping 14.4 inchs. Must be why I never managed to hit it that day.

Re: 6XC opinions True Ian At 1200 the 6xc out of the Tubb Rifle was really going some...... Of course overall from 800 to 1200 the top score went to a 308 Trg22 of Course!

Getting ready to start loading 223 seriously.

Re: Getting ready to start loading 223 seriously. My LTR 223 1 in 9 20'' stabilizes 77 SMKs . Shouldn't but does. Originally i thought that 69s were the heaviest I could use but some posts on the Hide suggested that 77s were viable so I gave them a try. It will shoot .5 to .75 MOA at 100...
