    I had the same problem with the MPR and the hog saddle, you have to put a foam shim in there because the hog saddle doesn't fit some of the slimmer modern handguards on AR's and the MPR. But I really like the MPR.

    Tikka specs on Compact Lite .223

    I had the .308 and .243 T3 lite barrels and there is not enough meat there to thread 5./8-24 on those barrels. Since they are a larger barrel, I would guess that it wouldn't work, but don't know for sure.
