    I prefer to do them in a lathe myself. I can make everything concentric and change shoulder angles. Can match the nose of the knob to the shoulder for a very streamlined look.

    Ron, didn't know CZ made that version in your link. I recently bought this synthetic 455 with a 20 1/2 inch barrel and cut it back to 16 1/2" then threaded it, also did some bolt work. It will be a project rifle. Geno, sometimes shorter is betterer:D

    Thanks James, It's a pain and does take time but between coats you flash dry it for 15-20 minutes. High heat stencils from Bulldog were used.
