In the factory manual for the TRG 42 MMRS, it states:" In the case action screws have become loose they should be re-tightened with hex multitool to hand tightness. Pitfalls of Buying Tikka vs. Remington
Machined up an adapter and inletted into stock. Had to fill recess as factory stock is relieved below barrel channel. Hopefull the pictures help. Have just bought the Sako Quad Range, which has the identical stock, in 22lr. Will be doing the same to it.Will then have a happy family of TRG42...- ChrisNZ

I have a Tikka T3 Sporter in 260. Shot extremely well straight out of the box. Comes with 5 shot detatchable magazine and factory threaded muzzle, oversize bolt knob. Stable, yet light, laminated stock that mimics my TRG 42 and allows the same adjustments to fit. The Spuhr scope mount fits...- ChrisNZ
