It'd be nice to know the load data for that combo.

    Long action 7mm cartridge

    With a 25" 7/08 AI, I get 2700 with h4350 and 180s. With 175s and staball I over 2900, but that was definitely spicy.

    Mammoth pack?

I'd recommend using a civilian pack rather than a military. The military ones are heavier, but more durable in general. For mammoth weight, but also support matters more than durability imo. I used a Osprey Aether 70L this year. It was on the larger side, did not have much of a weight penalty...

I've been using either PPU or LC LR 11 Brass.

    AW style 223 mags

If at all possible, a longer COAL would be great, especially something north of 2.6"

223 AICS Mag for max COAL?

If you don't mind some milling, you can get stupid long with the accurate mag ones.

    Staball 6.5 .308 and 7mm-08

Not being a more read up person, I'd hazard a guess that the larger bore diameter allows pressure to build differently and to get the best pressure and speed you'll need a different burn rate compared to a smaller diameter bullet of the 7mm and smaller cartridges.

    Staball 6.5 .308 and 7mm-08

With the standard 7/08 you can get 2800 with XBR. With the Ackley, you can easily get 2850 with XBR or varget. With staball in the Ackley with 162s, I got to 2916 with 50.4 grains in a 25" barrel.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

To circle back, since you're discontinuing the Archimedes, what's the support going to be like on legacy actions? Parts like extractors, springs and bolt heads?

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Damnit, lefty's left waiting again. But I'll drop a order as soon as it opens so I can add another to the stable. I assume this has the same footprint as the rest of the fleet?

    223 ackley feeding issues

I had to open up the lips on my accurate mags for my 223ai. Then they sit higher for the bolt to catch.

    New lightweight hunter project started

I love my 7/08 AI. I have a lot of data with 180s and 162s. 39-41gr XBR will get you 2800 or so with a 162. I was getting stupid velocity with 6.5 staball with both of those bullet classes. Something like 2900+ with a 162. DM me for info if you want it or check the 7mm load data thread for...

223 vs 223AI for trainer and predators

Varget, n140, XBR and h4895 all are solid. 4895 was 1/4 to 1/3 moa.

    223 Ackley Improved

In my nucleus, none. I've shot 500+ rounds through that one and no issues
