    With both Butler Creeks, & Bikini Style, you can shave the bottom edge of the cover so that it doesn't get stuck between the objective bell & the barrel when you go to remove/open it. Though with the poor quality I've been hearing of with Butler Creeks lately, I'm not sure they're a wise bet...

    Gents, I'm on a bit of an info hunt. What I'm wondering is, will 175gr & 180gr SMKs properly stabilize when fired out of a 9 1/4 twist barrel in magnum calibers. Meaning 7mm RM, 7mm WSM etc. Sierra's website strongly suggests a faster twist. But I know that plenty of guys have fired bullets...
