    I've definitely seen a PIO shift between barrels, but not when reinstalling a barrel For example, the POI on my 308 barrel is different then my 338LM, but if I install the barrel properly, the 308 POI has never shifted, and neither has my 338 barrel

    Well, tried out the BORS out to 750 yards today, and it was superb. It did just what I wanted it to do, if not more while being super intuitive. The fact that it can store more then one vertical zero makes it even more useful with multiple calibers. TBH, I don't feel like Barrett has done a good...

    Poor professionalism

    Try living in canuckistan where everything fun falls under ITAR. Just getting a barrel takes ~6 months (2-3 for the order to be fullfilled and 2-3 for it to get an export permit to ship out of the US). I ordered a BORS in November, 19 weeks later, it MIGHT make it to me by this weekend.

    Why are you going with such light bullets? Why not take advantage of the rate of twist and go 178's in the 308?

    it`s your rifle, you get to do with it what you want. I wasn`t judging, I just didn`t understand. will the folder still work? I'm at work but I thought the stock latched on to the bolt knob when you folded the stock.

    I guess I don`t understand why you cleaned it... If it shot well (and I believe you said it did), then I don`t see a reason to clean it, but I can see a downside. Now you need to foul the barrel and you may have removed some life as I was under the impression it is an abrasive.

    Jesus christ that's expensive! There are no laws that I am aware of for exporting barrels and the like from Canada, so would it be worth trying to buy it from Canada? I think they are ~ 1800$ CAD/1200 Euro here. Even with shipping it would be quite cheap by comparison.

    I'm still waiting for Barrett to ship it....ITAR slows everything down terribly for us up here (2.5 months since it was ordered) :( I was hoping to get it before SHOT show, but the importer at least confirmed it is on a skid, at Barrett, they are just waiting on the export paperwork.

    it's going on my ATACR 5-25 w/h59 reticle. and don't worry, I'll be sure to report back to let everyone know how it goes. Sadly, I was hoping to get out to the range and chrony 3 different loads so I could be ready for when it shows up, but this freezing weather is preventing that :( yet again...

    Would your rounds load and feed from a long action mag? I suspect you'll need to massage the mag lips. Have you reached out to Patrice at Cadex? He has always been quick to respond to me when I've called or emailed him.

    Sadly, the winter here has just been frigid, we've been dealing with "high" temperatures in the -20 F range with the windchill. It's hard to get out, and shoot in that weather :( I can only hope this cold spell will break and we will get to thaw a little soon, my BORS should be here in the next...
