    Re: Savage .243? Savage rifles are great platform to work on......110,111,112,etc is the long action where as the 10,11,12's are the short action. Plenty custom parts (not as many as the Remingtons) barrel swap is easy. A lot of the custom barrel makers have pre-fit barrels for the Savage...
