    Do you find the Zenith's fov to be small? Any tunneling? The 2.5-10X fov is 39.6-12ft which is a bit narrow.

    I returned the Magnus as it had A LOT of dust and a smudge inside the erector assembly and 10X and above was very unacceptable. Possibly related to the all the crap I saw inside. Sportoptics apparently has it back up on their site as new. Sad. It's possible mine was also a return.

    Magnus made in Germany. Fortis in Portugal. Is the Fortis merely a Portugese built Magnus? Any difference optically between these two? Also, how would you guys rate the S&B Zenith compared to a Zeiss V6/V8 and Swarovski Z6? I'm still looking for a low light scope to top my 27 Nosler for deer...

    Received stock Tikka bolt today--functions perfectly. No e-mail reply yet. Will have to call. Anybody else having problems with the bolt?

    My bolt won't close with a round. It will close with the extractor removed. Either needs a softer spring, more of a beveled edge or both. E-mailed LRI a few days ago... Ordered a stock Tikka bolt since hunting season is too close to wait for a remedy.

    Good question. Just stick with an external wrench for the benefit of increased external leverage for really tight factory barrels. I originally tried a Bugholes internal, but no luck at all with my barrel. Apparently, others have had success with only an internal.

    Experiences with this stock? My Tikka T3X/Carbon-Six barrel needs a home. I'm tempted to order and wait a long time for a Manners or maybe a Mesa Altitude. The EKO in Large Pattern Midnight Grey visually appeals to me most at this point, but I have no idea if it's a decent stock.

    I'm considering the Polar T96, but unsure since the Optics-Trade review also said the Leica Magnus was better than the T96. I found the Magnus did not do better than my Z3 in low light. If the review is accurate, then the Polar T96 won't outperform my Z3.
