    Stainless-Topped Bench for reloading?

Ground it like Victor says. Go to your local installer of granite counter tops and get a piece that is left over when the cut out is made for a sink. Place the scale on it. It dampens any vibrations.

    Federal 215M primer in a .270?

4831. Start 2 grains low and work up with mag primers.

    Broken pins

Lee is stronger. The crimp is for retention of the primer in automatic weapons.

    What Not to Do.

NEVER have more than ONE canister of powder on your loading bench at any one time. You'll either load the wrong powder when you refill your measure or scale, or you'll empty your holding flask/bottle into the wrong canister and wind up with expensive fertilizer. My neighbor did the wrong powder...

    forster co ax press

The mechanical advantage is much greater than other presses. I spoke with Mr. Purdie back in the '70s...he said to remember that it is a machine and needs to be lubed...I took his advice and I can detect no wear after 40+ years.

    Subsonic 300 Blackout with H110

You can probably get it to go bang...but 110 is heavily deterrent coated and will probably leave a lot of debris in the barrel (and possibly gas system) with light loads. JMHO

Is their a high BC (VLD) type bullet for the .350 Remington Magnum

Depends on your capabilities. Pistol whipping a deer at 500 yards with that XP is going to be dicey. I don't like wounding deer and having them die hours later in a place you can't find them. JMHO

Best way to set OAL? Lee DL seating dies

A couple of things I do...learned from others. Polish the inside of the case necks with 0000 steel wool wrapped around a brass brush and spun in a drill motor. Lube the inside of the necks with dry lube...I use graphite in alcohol. Raise the ram and allow the case to sit in the seating die...

    Primer rupture help

Remington bolts do that primer "cratering" thing. I've been informed that it a factory design in order to decrease leakage in the event you get a primer puncture in the center. I had my rifle bolt bushed.

Remington 9 1/2 Large Rifle Primer Misfires

Before you, and maybe at/or before Cabela's. Heat, damp, who knows?

Type-s FL die runout - Help, what am I doing wrong?

Forster hones $16.00 including return mail. Me...I've tried all sorts. Best...Lee collet, then body sizing die to bump shoulder if necessary.

    Flattened case mouth remedy

Sometimes that will work. Sometimes the expander button on the die does not correspond to the external diameter of the neck turning pilot. I find I have to use a K&M expandiron to enable smooth turning with my Forster neck turner. With so many different manufacturers out there doing the same...

Remington 9 1/2 Large Rifle Primer Misfires

Considering that this seems to be a singular problem...might be a storage problem with your chain of supply.

Primers - How much of a difference do they make?

Changes from make to make can make (!) a difference. Standardize your load at the beginning. If you can get 210 or 210 M get a bunch. Develop a base line, then if you have to change because of availability, you can experiment with what is available. I like the Wolf. Got a bunch of 210. Can't...

Tell me about shot shell reloading.

For medium volume the MEC is fine. For years I used the NRA load in my 12ga 2 3/4 shells. "Little powder, much lead, shoots far kills dead. 28 grains Unique, 1 1/2 Oz shot. Did exactly what it claimed. Good patterns, no "hole in the middle" like some hi velocity loads.

    .280 AI from 30 06 brass?

Expand necks (K&M Expandiron) to .32 or .33 caliber and full length size in the .280 AI die. That makes a false shoulder to headspace against when fire-forming.

    Metal Reloading bench

Ground it and forget it. Don't rely on house ground or piping. Modern homes have all that plastic piping you can't see. Ground rod, copper wire.
