    The Vepr rifles in 7.62x54 and .308win are excellent shooters. Particularly the 20inch barreled 7.62x54. Unfortunately the 54r Vepr only comes with single stack magazines. The .308 uses double stack.

    the lrp07 jp hand gaurds are rigid. no issues using atlas bipod and switching to a bag under the handgard or on a tripod. I havent personally compared to an LRI 20.

    stock lrp07 in 6.5 creedmoor with Prime factory 130 grain ammo can shoot 1moa at 1000yards with bipod/rear bag. Probably better with handloads but never felt the need to. I would not hesitate to grab an lrp07 with low round count for under $3,000
