    Accuracy International AT-X

Wait for the AT-XC's to start shipping and buy a used one. I will likely sell mine for somewhere in that price range once I have the new AT-XC.

You forgot the hinge assembly as well...

    Accuracy International AT-X

I shoot it, and it works great out of the AT-X. Super easy. Feeds great and low recoil for a 6.5

    Accuracy International AT-X

I wonder if its forwards compatible with the AT-XC with its new bolt and action features? I also have been using the standard AX magazines, anyone know what problems this one is supposed to address for the AT-X over using the AX magazines?

    Accuracy International AT-XC

Yes, it was pretty surprising to watch - I think someone else did the loading for him right before the match, so no time to validate it. I was surprised his action survived...

    Accuracy International AT-XC

Yeah, he was hitting it pretty hard. However last time I shot the Nightforce ELR match in Wyoming someone - I can't remember who, but pretty good shooter had ammo that was WAY over pressure. Every shot he had a hammer, to pound open the action by pounding on the bolt handle. He did that for...

    Accuracy International AT-XC

I was shooting with a friend at the PRS match in Telluride when he got a stuck .223 case (a bit overpressure). He was on-the-clock and hit the bolt with his hand to try to eject the case and the bolt handle snapped clean off his Tikka. He finished the match shooting his .308 AI AW which they...

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Anyone know how to "rename' the Garmin in the Garmin ShotView app? I often am using 2 of these during load development and would love to name them something other than their numeric names....

Here is a pic of my Garmin in one of my Trijicon RMR (or SRO) boxes. Fits perfectly.

Couple of comments... 1. I have a fair amount of different bolt action rifles. My TL3's and Defiance actions certainly feel nice, and bolt manipulation is very smooth. However they sometimes can be temperamental. When I ask people what they are looking for in a rifle, I tell them they can go...

If anyone has those Trijicon plastic boxes laying around from their RMR - that might be a good fit?

    Accuracy International AT-X

Just hazarding a guess also here - but IIRC there is a import dues cost. My guess that by having AINA build stuff here, the cost of the overall rifle was lower avoiding import costs. Now that the AT-X is manufactured entirely in the UK, the tax value is on the entire rifle, not just the...

I am thinking your correct, no low cost option anymore...

    Accuracy International AT-X

What is the alternative? If you had to pick an alternative FACTORY rifle that would perform similarly or better to the AT-X / AT-XC what would you pick then? MRAD? FN? I am familiar with Desert Tech, but looking for apples to apples - it should have a quick change barrel system and be a...

    Accuracy International AT-XC

I am pretty sure the AXSA is the same as the AX308 right?

    Accuracy International AT-X

After having been to SHOT, IIRC the bolts are required to be removed from a safety standpoint. Some vendors get away with complete removing the firing pin - or use a modified firing pin that can't protrude into the headpace to set off a primer. I am guessing they wanted people to be able to...

    Accuracy International AT-X

I think one thing they posted in the AT-XC thread is the new action uses 6 bolts instead of 4 in the AT-X.

    Accuracy International AT-XC

I think they is what they said already, I think it was in the press release?

    Accuracy International AT-XC

Please ask if the barrels swap between the AT-X and the new AT-XC & AT-X MIL - ie, are the tennon dimensions consistent?

    Accuracy International AT-X

I am guessing the answer is "YES", but we won't know until someone asks directly, or else they chime in here. Though the bolt and receiver are different, I expect the tennon dimensions are likely the same for the barrels - but who knows if they decided to change that as well at the same time...
