    What is your preferred scope level?

    If you use a Send-It and mount it ahead of the elevation adjustment, and shoot with both eyes open, you'll see the blue/green or red dot in the bottom of the scope image. It's also very useful in ensuring a scope base is level when mounting a scope.

    Not an exact answer to your question, but compared an ATACR to my 7-35 MK5 HD and the Leupold was definitely brighter and had better depth of field. Wouldn't have believed it myself if I hadn't seen it...not bagging on the NF at all it's a great optic.

    Success! Found a frikin' sunshade that works finally. Nikko Sterling PN NSTT44, cost me less than $8 and it threads right on. 4" in length. Now to find a 20 or 30 MOA mount that is 4" or less end to end. There's really not enough ups in this scope without a canted mount...

    Picked up the USO TS 3-12x and mounted it on a 24" AR. I like the dot in the middle of the reticle, and it has enough reticle to use it in PRS. Glass is good, not great of course, but for $350 it's a good deal IMO. No zero stop and only 5 mils per rotation, so just have to pay attention more...

    Search turned up nothing, so... Using the Forster Datum Dial kit to set shoulder bump, I use it wit good results in 6.5CM, 6GT and .223, but the Forster site doesn't list 6mm ARC on their website. 6mm ARC has a 30* shoulder angle as does 6mm XC and they recommend the .375 aperture, but 6.5...

    It's like horse people, get three of 'em together and two will be telling the third that they're doing it wrong. :rolleyes: Another method that makes sense to me is to do a ladder test to find OCW with the tuner set at 10, then get seating depth handled and finally fine tune with the tuner.

    I'll probably do some more testing on it but with a proper front rest, this was off a bipod. Also these rounds were made with brand new Hornady brass with only a mandrel run down the necks. I waiting for my AMP to come in then I'll do another ladder to make sure it's still good for this barrel...

    Well I'll throw in my data points. Just installed the EC tuner brake on my 25" Benchmark chambered in 6GT. Upper left bullseye was shot with the previous 5 port brake, and the first 5 shot group (#0 setting on the tuner) after installing the ECTB was 1.2mils low, and about .4mils right...

    So far so good. It was 80's on this past Saturdays match, supposed to be 100 this weekend, maybe I'll chrono it again and see if it's speeded up. I'm up near max, but not max.

    A&D FX-120i

    I will say that my CM1500 with discharge insert throws Alliant Power Pro Varmint like a boss. +/- .02g is standard, whereas with extruded RL16 or H4350 I have to set it for .1 under weight and trickle the rest in. So it's the FX120 for extruded and the CM1500 for spherical.

I started with a CM1500 that I got brand new off CL for cheap, but found that it wasn't dead nuts consistent like I wanted so bought the V1 setup, then upgraded the plate, cup and hopper from Area 419, then finally bought the V3 upgrade which hopefully...

    Well technically it's not an AR, but youknow... I hate the quadrail, but I can replace that through Robinson if I really get a bug up my ass about it. 3x Acog, 300ish lumen light, stubby handle, single point sling and has a Surefire Socom muzzle device on it now. Fit's great in a non-descript bag.
