They are very accurate in my 26" PSS loaded to about 3,000 fps in Milsurp brass with WCC 844 (45.5 - 46.0gr) Milsurp powder (about like Win 748 or H335) or 3,100 fps...- Roscoe_M4

Rifle Scopes anybody using a Leupold 6-18X MK II ?
Re: anybody using a Leupold 6-18X MK II ? I've got the target model on a .223 LTR that I have used in competition out to 500yds. It's a great scope for the price IMHO. In fact a few years back I sold an 8.5-25X40 VIII Leupy and kept this one for the .223.- Roscoe_M4

Re: 260 barrel length I am using a 23" Schneider P5 on my 260. Velocity with the 120 - 123 gr pills is in the 2,950 fps range easy. I don't like to push 139 - 142 gr pills up to 2,800 fps with my handloads, but 2,750 fps is very easy to make. Those should make some pretty fair hunting...- Roscoe_M4

Re: RL-15 for .55gr .223 loads? Have the surplus powder sources dried up now as well? I've still got a couple of jugs of surplus Winchester ball powders that are used to load like H335 and BL-C(2). Re: Speer 50gr. TNT bullet and 700P ? Don, Are you sure your 700P is a 1-12? I thought most 700Ps and 700LTRs were made in 1-9 twist to stabilize the 69 gr. FGM round. It doesn't matter though, I use the 50 TNTs in my 26" 1-12 700VS, my 20" 1-9 700LTR, and my 16" 1-9 Bushy AR-15 - it works...- Roscoe_M4

Re: Loads for .260 Here are my favorite long range loads for the .260. Rifle is a GAP Rem 700, 1-8 twist Schneider P5 at 23". All loads are in sorted and prepped Rem brass, neck sized in a Redding standard N/S die. COL is 2.800" to 2.810" (about 0.020" jump). 142gr. Sierra MKs, 43.0 grs...- Roscoe_M4

Movie Theater Best Military Sniper Movie.
Re: Best Military Sniper Movie. "Enemy at the Gates" was real good but I'll give a +1 to "Shot Through the Heart" as well. I liked "Shooter" too, but the movies just can't compare to the books, and most sniper movies really leave you feeling let down.- Roscoe_M4
