    There is nothing new that interests me right now, or at least offered in the USA. I'm going in the opposite direction and looking for stuff made in the 80's and 90's by Toyota. Having something that you don't need a computer to trouble shoot a problem is becoming more appealing as time goes on.

    Yeah, I've been seeing this pattern here locally. Walmart - no engine oil on the shelf other than some odd viscosities, that few use. Not much better selection at the auto parts stores, who are traditionally 20% higher priced. Less and less choices for oil/air filters for popular models...

    Went in and paid my property taxes yesterday. Between building on it (improvements) which doubled my taxes, and value increases from COVID-19, I'll see even higher taxes next year. My opinion, the essentials for living such as shelter, heat, and food should not be taxed.

    As Tomcat and others have suggested. Another thing to look into is having a ventilation system that draws damp air from your crawl space to the outside. Low CFM fan which can be on a timer, and will use minimal electricity.
