    I shot as a newbie last year and shooting as a newbie +1 this year. This is not a gear match by any means, definitely a riflemans match. Everyone was more than friendly and the more experienced guys offered up good advice. No matter what it is a very good time and a great learning experience.

    Maybe I missed this earlier and it has already been addressed, but is there anything we can do about squadding. I have a buddy coming down to shoot and we would at least like to start on the same squad if possible.

    6CM here pushing the 115Dtac with H1000 and I am over the 2000 mark now. I believe the key is to keep velocity reasonable and use the slow powders to do it. No reason the barrel cant go 2500-3000 or even more.

    When getting shots off under time or pressure I will squeeze the rear bag. On a bench or if I have all day I will just slide my v bag for elevation.
