    Priming tool you use?

RCBS Universal Hand Primer. No, shell holders, metal barrier in between primer being set and the primers in the tray, doesn't ever jam primers at the ram, doesn't flip primers when you slide them back into the tray. What I'd *really* like is the Hornady handle (ergonomics, stands by itself)...

    Question about Flyers

Could be you, could be the load you are using (which you don't identify) is close but not optimal for your barrel.

OCW test results opinions needed UpDated

Reading the 24.3gr group as a scatter, that would point back to ~23.9gr as an OCW node. Given 23.7 and 24.0 have the same POI, I'd probably test more predicting 23.8gr will be the OCW load. Nice targets :)

New press turned .5MOA gun into 2MOA gun?

It's impossible to use a Lee Turret without questioning the "slop" in the tool head. Because only one die is in use at a time, the toolhead necessarily lifts at an angle. So I went looking for another press that didn't allow that to happen. After watching pretty much all the presses in action...

Newbie to reloading. Tumbling brass vs ultrasound cleaning

Your original question is at least partially concerned with the noise a tumbler makes. To eliminate that noise, you need to eliminate the tumbler. Ultrasonic does that, and it is a viable cleaning method. It has the advantages and drawbacks of wet tumbling, and in some cases smaller batch sizes...

Need some help picking a press

I started with a Lee Turret, and quickly moved to a Hornady Classic for rifle (30-06 and 223), and a Hornady LnL AP for pistol and 223 plinking ammo. Lots of folks make great ammo on a Lee turret. If I were only doing pistol, there'd be no question given your choices I'd choose the turret...

    Primmer pocket prep

As said above, either type will work - some tools are more expensive and/or easier to use than others. Swagers and some cutters that bevel the mouth of the primer pocket make re-priming easier.

    Any must haves?

IMO, you need to buy a set to start with, otherwise what are you calibrating to lol. Typically you can then calibrate closely if not exactly to your powder charge. Once that's done, MtnCreek's suggestion of cutting/sanding pieces of wire etc to exactly match your actual powder charges is...

Any experience w/ Precision Reflex RUN OUT RIG

No experience with the Precision Reflex, but once you measure it I'm betting you're gonna be pleasantly surprised.

    Another OCW evau..

Any 3 of the 9 bullets fired at 41.3, 41.7, and 42.1 would make a decent group lol. So IMO it's hard to argue with picking 41.7gr and calling it a day. I don't think I'd bother worrying whether 41.6 would actually be the center of the node.

Loaded ammo, same price as components...

Not same price at all . . . by your calcs your next 100 reload rounds will cost $25. And the one after that. And the one after that. etc :)

    New Shooter/New OCW Test

I'm gonna violently disagree with Savageshooter86 . . . I like 44.0 :) Same basic logic, but the common POIs seem to begin at 43.9, and 44.2 certainly seems fine . . . so I'd load at 44.0

    Reading OCW test results

How much more is needed? Depends lol. Personally, I like to shoot enough on the same day, from the same loading session, to find 2 sweet spots. The distance (ie, powder charge difference) between them tends to confirm findings. And remember, we are not privy to past groups shot. Having said...

556 or 223.. whats better for different makers of AR-15's

OP, it is perfectly safe and appropriate for you to use your buddy's brass. The brass itself does NOT make the difference between 223 and 556. For all practical purposes here, it's the same brass. The difference is (essentially) how hot the loads are. Also as said above, you have a Wylde...

    Die questions

Lotsa folks - even those who wouldn't use other Lee dies - use the Lee FCD when they choose to separate seating from crimping/removing the bell. The "extra" die simplifies setup and works even when brass is not trimmed to the same size (not an issue for 9mm), adds ease and value, and doesn't...

    OCW with Magneto Speed Chronograph

As said above, the POI changes; and it will change again as/if the strap loosens, you tighten it, or if you detach/re-attach the bayonet. Those facts are easy to verify. It's up to you whether you think the tool will help, be neutral, or interfere when you pursue OCW, a method that relies on...

How do you guys deprime pre tumble?

Doesn't matter whether one wet or dry tumbles, IMO this is the ideal sequence. Cleaning after full case prep ensures no lube, no brass filings . . . no nothing . . . is hiding in the case. And the only way to do that is to (clean and) resize etc before the final cleaning.

    5.56 I need your resources!

Using current prices at Powder Valley - though they are out of stock atm - for Hornady 55gr FMJBT, H335, and CCI41, the cost is $0.197 per round, plus 27.50, plus shipping, plus your brass cost.

    Lowering ES whats the secret?

Because the MagnetoSpeed's sensors are ALWAYS the same distance apart, there are no errors due to distance-between-sensors varying from setup to setup. However, since all clocks in these types of devices have some kind of error/variability, given the *SAME* clocks Magnetospeed's short distance...

    OCW interpretation help

LOL! I didn't comment on your first pic, because I was confused and wanted 44.2 and 44.5 Not to have (what turned out to be) that third shot. Did you clean the barrel at any time during shooting? If so, did you run foulers before shooting OCW again? If the answer to either of those is no . . ...
