Do we have any UNSC members here who have been successful in getting their own personal steel targets approved for use on the 550 there? I'd love to shoot my reactive AR500 out there, and they have varying steel availability.

    Lab Radar or Magneto Speed?

Yeah that thread Frank started definitely concerned me with the fragility of the unit. I actually received a broken one with a piece rattling around inside the unit when I opened the box.. I haven't had any issues with the new one, but I think it's a bit more likely that the LR would break over...

    Lab Radar or Magneto Speed?

Ahh I see. Yesterday was my first time letting someone test the rifle with a braked Savage .338, and we just set the brake about 8" forward of the LR since I didn't know exactly what to do and didn't have my manual out there with me. He only fired 6 shots, but it picked them all up. I also make...

    Lab Radar or Magneto Speed?

Yeah I have a feeling it didn't pick those shots up because the action isn't supposed to be next to the LR. Like you said, not surprised. As as far as picking up suppressed shots, I set things up just like the manual says. Things I see people forget to do are not setting the firearm type...

    Lab Radar or Magneto Speed?

That would still do me no good since I don't run pic rails on my hand guards.

Uhh... McRees may want to rethink this one? Maybe?

I'm considering filing for a patent for putting pepperoni on pizza. Sure.. both pepperoni and pizza existed separately way before I started doing it, but I put them together! I swear to god if any of you assholes get a pepperoni pizza from Dominos after I get this patent, I'll sue ya!

    Lab Radar or Magneto Speed?

I have to say I have NEVER had my Labradar miss a suppressed shot. I test my 300 blackout often, and it's all subsonic. It has literally never missed a subsonic suppressed shot, and I returned the air gun microphone attachment because it's not needed. Also, I don't shoot anything unsuppressed -...

    Accurate Mag question

All I use are Accurate mags without the plate for extra space. Never any issues with my Defiance

Rifle Scopes NF atacr vs minox ZP5

I would absolutely recommend NF... I am thoroughly pleased. Only thing I would say is that Gen II glass is almost on par with the NF, not the other way around ;)

    Why does Alpha Industries suck

Is there something that's supposed to be better about Alpha mags than Accurate or AI? I ordered my Accurate mags and had them in 3 days.

UNSC is not only paper. The 550yd range has quite a few steel targets out there all the time. Tacoma Sportsmans Club on Canyon Rd in Puyallup is garbage. Their RO's are miserable people, and it's a 200yd paper only range with one shitty gong downrange that doesn't even make noise any more.

Walker's Silencer Electronic Ear Plugs: Any Experience with These?

I picked some up on Midway when I saw this post, and they're at my mailbox waiting to get picked up by me tomorrow. I'll be sure to chime in.. but I'm excited to try them out.

Experticity.com If you dont check them out, you may be just throwing money away!!

Yes.. what I meant to say in this thread echoes what long range said. I've actually seen many every day Amazon prices beat Experticity. Many times I've seen the discounts given off of MSRP so that they're almost exactly in line with standard retail street prices. I got really excited about a...

I'm in Puyallup and I have a spot in Ellensburg and Naches I go to pretty often in the summer (when it's not on fire). Buddies and I go out for informal steel shooting every other weekend. It's out to around 900 yards in either area. Great site for camping also! I'm also a member of UNSC if...
