    I'd buy a good 308 a Dillon 1050 1000 cases rifles only DVDs Franks DVD Bryan's books on ballistics. Dryfire as much as I could load up my cases and go shoot 2 training classes a year would be a good start.

    If you're using that stupid 130gr 308 load you're a punce. Buy a 243 or something. Go with something around the 180gr range that should work well for hogs and deer and not blow the cat a part. For factory hunting ammo I like the 180gr power points myself.

    How to best carry ammo in the field

    I usually carry a full mag in my rifle and two more on my belt. If I need to carry more I just dump them in a pocket on my ruck. I find the MTM boxes and thee like rattle and I cant be bothered putting the shells in them anyway.

    Hmm you need to just settle down a bit there... I don't doubt that you now a thing or two about shooting but at 14 you've got a hell of a lot to learn, I'v been shooting longer than you've been alive and I am still learning.
