Rifle Scopes 1-4 Power Adjustable Optic

Re: 1-4 Power Adjustable Optic you can use 4x to distances a lot further than 400 yards.....the RCO is "good" to about 800 but very effective out to the 600 yard mark.. the adjustable turrets is a nice feature. I would venture to say its not a must have. You have to decide if its worth the...

    Gunsmithing Brownells alumahyde??

Re: Brownells alumahyde?? its not the ultimate in permanent finishes but it is very durable. As stated clean and prep and proper application are absolutely crucial for a proper cure. It needs 2-3 days in good 90 degree heat and then I personally let it sit about 2 weeks before I actually...

    Fieldcraft 2112?

Re: 2112? me being a 2ndLt having no MOS yet has no bearing on the people I know or the conversations I have had. I didn't claim to give the final word or be in the "know", just putting in my 2 cents.

Member Link Up TAMPA FL SHOOTERS

I will be at shoot straight sometime tomorrow, (may 7th) probably before or around lunchtime. Hit me up, I don't have much ammo left (only about 220 of 5.56 and 350 of 9MM) but I will be blasting it all away tomorrow most likely so I'll be there for a little while at least

Rifle Scopes LaRue SPR or SPR-E?

Re: LaRue SPR or SPR-E? I have an SPR. It gives me pletny of eye relief, but again the SPR-E is necessary if you shoot NTCH. I know you've heard it but thats the best explanation.

Suppressors hk p2000: DA/SA or LEM (DAO)

Re: hk p2000: DA/SA or LEM (DAO) shot the LEM and it made me hate the p2000. I am sure the standard trigger is fine, but the LEM triggers are no SIG DAO...it was garbage. I have pronounced trigger slap too, my finger got beat the hell up from shooting it.

    savage mkII FV thoughts?

Re: savage mkII FV thoughts? the above is possibly the most negative I have read about them. I have a BV in the walnut stock..the wood stocks are MUCH better then the plastic and worth the extra coin. My build quality was great-maybe its the old ones that had lots of problems but for the...

Rifle Scopes Anyone using a mini red dot on their bolt rifle?

Re: Anyone using a mini red dot on their bolt rifle? several companies make caps that will work for this application--us AR guys are lucky (since most AR users use the LT stuff but not bolt guys, or at least my bolt guns dont have QR anything) in that the LT SPR mounts have the side cap-I am...

How reliable is the Savage Mark II?

Re: How reliable is the Savage Mark II? I have had no problems except similar extraction issues on cheap remington blunderbolts (however they still shot pretty well). I have beat mine around in the woods too.
