Rifle Scopes Vortex glass/Savage action elevation issues?
I have a savage 10 (4.25" spacing, old style) barrelled in 260. EGW 20 moa base. Vortex matching rings with a vortex viper pst 6-24 ffp. Re: DIY savage bolt lift kit... I test fired live rounds and the primers are fine. The deep firing pin divot on the empty case wasn't because of the bolt lift. Thanks for the advice and the steps to make this build. I like my savage even more now.- mailman

I'm thinking the deep primer strike is just because it was with an empty case. With no pressure from powder igniting maybe there is less resistance for...- mailman
