    GAP 10 doesn't like XM 118 LR?

Mine did the same thing. Mine doesn't want to stay to the rear when manually depressing the bolt catch and racking the charging handle either. I sent it back and they were supposed to fix it, but it's still doing it. It's frustrating to say the least.

    GAP10 ShowEm Off Pics

Hi Res? Haha. That's an iPhone pic. I'll post some more tonight. The barrel is 18" to the end of the brake. The knurling is good. It's not overly aggressive, but it gives the shooter a positive grip. The rail itself is much smaller in diameter which is also nice.

    Lasik

My wife had it this summer. She loves it. She still can't believe she can wake up in the middle of the night and read the alarm clock. Best money we ever spent.

    The iron bowl

It's going to be an awesome game. The biggest Iron bowl in 20 years. The poles haven't come out yet, but it's shaping up to be a top 5 matchup with Alabama sitting at No. 1 and Auburn coming in at No. 4. Auburn has a damn good run game, but last time I checked Alabama was pretty good at stopping...

2013 Steel City Precision Rifle Challenge - Birmingham, AL

Great match. Thanks to Dave, Jim, Richard, and John for putting in the long hours and hard work to make it happen. Also, thanks to all the ROs for your help in making the match run smoothly. The sponsors were very generous. They are doing a great job promoting our sport. I am already looking...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

I like the idea of throwing ideas around between the potential participants before things are set in stone. I think the more encompassing you can make the "match in a box" idea the more successful this will be. Instead of just a target package, make it target packages, courses of fire, POC at...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

I'd have to agree with Nine! about the paying for points. Probably wouldn't be a problem at the beginning, but if you want to build for the future than scaling that back from the get go would be a good idea. LL, am I correct in understanding your "match in a box" idea as being similar to a...

    Zeiss Victory 8X26 T* PRF or Leica 1600 B

You'll be happy with the Leica. I bought the PRF and returned it to buy the Leica within a day. The PRF lases too slow and the beam has too large of a divergence.

What to get my Sniper Brother before he deploys

If you've narrowed it down to a solar charger or the MUT I'd go with the MUT. There's a good chance he'll never need the solar charger bc of readily available power. Plug straight into a wall if he's on a bigger base or run a cord from a generator on a smaller COP or patrol base. As long as he...

Sidearms & Scatterguns 1911 - what would you spend $1000 - 2000 on if you had the cash

You would be correct. Rule of thumb, you can't spend too much on a 1911. 80 20 rule applies.

Rifle Scopes Alumina Flip-Back Lens Covers

Has anyone here put these on a Leupold Mark 6 3-18x? I'm looking through the sizes online and don't see any 44mm listed. Also, any feedback in general on quality/function of these would be appreciated.
