    Re: Barrel contour on old Win mod 70 sniper rifles? I have a 1956 target M70, the muzzle diameter is .780 and next to the reciever is 1.150. The taper is pretty straight. I think Douglas makes a really nice reproduction barrel in that contour.

    I have read a lot of .260 loading data on this site but can’t find anything about the Nosler 140gr CC. I have been using them for a while and they seem pretty good although I’m not getting the tiny groups I’ve read about with other 260 bullets. Anybody else using these?

    Re: IOR 2.5x10x42 any downside or others to compare? A bit off topic but I have an IOR 1.5-8 on the way from Liberty Optics now. It will go on my favorite 3gun rifle. Also been considering the 2.5-12 for a different setup. I think this will be my 7th IOR scope. The 3-18s are great too.
