Gunsmithing Need a lead on a torgue wrench for scope mounting

Re: Need a lead on a torgue wrench or scope mounting You can pick one up from Napa in inch lbs. Its a ratchet type set up rather than screw driver handle. I have one for my dirt bike carburetor. Works great for for rails and rings also.

New To Reloading - What setup?

Re: New To Reloading - What setup? If you're looking to be economical, pick up a Lee Classic Cast press. Strong as an ox. I'm not real crazy about some of their other models. Their dies are quite capable of producing an accurate round. I'm less than 1/2 moa At 200 with a Classic cast...

Rifle Scopes Help with scope choice

Re: Help with scope choice I'm about to piss off half the guys here, but I don't really care for Zeiss. Have a Conquest and a Diavari. The color contrast is excellent, but there is something about the eyepiece that drives me crazy. No matter how I address the scope, there is a glare...

    Templar Action Rock

Re: Templar Action Rock You know, I can't help but see what bitch irony is here. I've spent the last 3 years gathering info on the site and parts for my own 300wm project. Myself and 5 ladies, young and old, share this house so money is tight. Been sharing my experiences with my father and...

    Templar Action Rock

My father wants me to order him a rifle in 7wsm. He prefers a more traditional look. A Rock popped in my head. I've always been intrigued with the Templar action. Any personal experience with the Templar? This rifle will largely be a safe queen, I'm sure, but he's looking for something...

Re: 7wsm Build Help Trailside, I'm contemplating a similar build. I'm going with an HTG adjust. What contour are you thinking about? I have a Barltien Heavy Target for my 300wm and couldn't imagine anything heavier.

    AICS

Re: AICS I've got to give Adam Bauer and Mile High their props. I called Mile High for a 2.0. They didn't have one in stock at the time. Adam wound up calling me back. Turned out they teamed up to get what I wanted. Adam didn't have exactly what I was looking for either so he set me up...

Gunsmithing Jewell trigger compatibility with AICS

Re: Jewell trigger compatibility with AICS The Dremel doesn't do to well with stones. I found that a roto-zip bit makes short work of it. Looks good also.

    Starting Point

I've been working up a load for my 300wm with the 208 AMAX. I've gone through H1000. Can any one give me a starting load for H4831 and RL22? I'm using 215M primers. I appreciate any knowledge you might could share.

    finally got my safe

Re: finally got my safe Have two with dials and one with key pad. The key pad is easy to access but it can be a real pain if I fat finger the keys. I prefer the dials.

    AICS Stock questions.

Re: AICS Stock questions. Quick tip on the milling. If you're not set up for it, a Dremel with a roto-zip bit makes quick, nice looking work. Take as much or as little as you want.
