Tesla Cybertruck just exploded outside Trump Vegas Hotel....

And a guy with that level of know how chooses white gas and fireworks.....not some of that chemistry stuck in the memory hole. That and his PIV card didn't burn but he did.....not passing the smell test.

Karma Shooter, Looking at our Body Position

On a braked 6br that weighs 16 pounds, I don't think C/G has enough influence to make any difference and honestly should only help keep the muzzle down. If you had a #10 338 to hunt with and a brake that brought you around 30-06 recoil.....I think it could become a point of failure. It's a...

Karma Shooter, Looking at our Body Position

Till someone breaks it off in side her ...then it matters. Scopes keep getting heavier and cartridges bigger. At some point there's a yield.

Karma Shooter, Looking at our Body Position

At what recoil level do you go back to lower scopes? I can't imagine a 2" mount on anything nasty living a long life.....so is this just at the "I can spot my own impacts" level or are you going all in because this is the newest best practice?

Someone either kick me in the nuts or help me find a 14mm thread protector

If this falls apart, I'm left footed....so at least it'll be different.

    Continuous scope ring slippage

I will be the odd man and suggest you tighten it up. Torque is measured by resistance at the fastener head and in a perfect world will reflect tension. Different thread pitch, pitch diameter, materials and wet/dry all make a difference. If everything I did was not working, I would think it's...

Which scope for 1000 yard rifle

This is a 3rd group from just over 1k yds with a kimber Montana in 300wsm topped with a 3-9 swfa.....hardly a long range setup. My POA was the leaves in the corner to the upper left, but the group says enough to the fact that it's plenty accurate. I really like something in the 15ish area for...

We found out you are stressed at work....so you won't be stressed you're fired.

I adopted the two boys and they were pre programmed to not be like me, which is alright because they are both doing well....I would sure like to see them be better with their hands, but they are math and music minded. When I was a kid, you were an athlete or a band nerd. Apparently things are...

We found out you are stressed at work....so you won't be stressed you're fired.

I started turning pins and bushings after school in high school. That was straight up hard work. I learned how to weld keeping up the press tooling.....which led to a long career of doing skilled trades. Fast forward 30 years and I own my own shop with lathes, mill, surface grinder and...

Need expert advice on target size/distance placement

On the steel we hang the house we use strips of conveyor belt. It lasts forever. I have busted chains on the first shot.....talk about mad.

Need expert advice on target size/distance placement

I use underground marking paint on rocks. It is erased by the sun in a few weeks and I keep my targets small. I like to shoot into bluffs as it's easier to spot impacts. I am fortunate enough to be able to shoot as far as 2 miles in almost 360* ......which is great for wind work.

    Any Concrete guys here?

I used noxcrete to seal mine. I poured it myself and cut it myself....been 2 years and still perfect.

Stop all that prep, oh and seating tests are bullshit, love Hornady

I can't wait for next week's episode, "Density altitude is for conspiracy theorists".

ATACR 4-16x42 - Usable hold distance with MIL XT reticle w/ 100 yard zero and 5.56 rifle (and mount concerns)

That scope in it's worst possible configuration can still tell if the fly on the 100 yard target is a buck or a doe.

    Compact, folding chassis

I have mdt and xlr. I like the 4.0mg more.

Pre 64 Model 70 winchester opinion please.

You want to talk to someone from the ACGG. Jim Kobe, D'Arcy Echols, Doug Turnbull.....but you should be prepared for some sticker shock. Or you draw file it and have it rust blued.....or dare I say cerakoted.
