    Savage 12 varmint conversion

Re: Savage 12 varmint conversion I personally love the 6.5-284, but it is a barrel burner vs many of the tactical calibers (not any worse than the 243's really though). The .260 is a pretty fine choice as well, IMO. All of the ones that Diggler suggested are solid choices too. That Savage...

Re: Would you pay $1,000 + for this action? Dude NO ONE said that you were wrong to be upset!!!!!!!! It is how you handled the situation that started this whole damned thread. Get off your high horse and come back down to Earth with the rest of us. It was a mistake! It would have been...

Re: Stevens noodle w/Sierra Match king reloads From what I have seen and read, it is not uncommon for them to shoot great, right out of the box. Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Barrel Nut

Stevens noodle w/Sierra Match king reloads

Re: Stevens noodle w/Sierra Match king reloads It is so funny that Savage/Stevens has became so popular for such ugly guns according to some. As far as I am concerned, any gun that is not accurate out of the box is an ugly gun. If you have to spend money to make them shoot, don't buy...

    Skunkworked SPS tactical

Re: Skunkworked SPS tactical Mike's reputation was hard earned from everyone that I have spoken too about his skills and the rifles that he builds. I would not have a problem what so ever having him build a rifle for me. His work is second to know, again from what I have heard from people...

    Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper

Re: Vortex Viper Scott, I truly feel sorry for you as a retailer being thrust into this position by a supplier. They have created a whirlwind of hype, (which I do hope is valid, as I do want one myself)but leaves you without cash in the til until and when the new product finally does hit...

Re: Would you pay $1,000 + for this action? I was once told that cocaine will enhance your attitude. I thought about it for a minute then the thought crossed my mind, "What if you are an asshole"? I passed, as I need no further assistance in that category. Stop, drop and think.

    Caliber choice ?

Re: Caliber choice ? I love the 7mm for long range accuracy, but the 308 is no slouch either. The 30-06 for what ever reasons is not the "fashion statement" in the long range game as it is in the hunting world. Any of the listed calibers are good to go IMHO. Shot what you like and the rest...
