    As @Krob95 said, my Gasser wears a SB 5-20US w/ MSR. Ole Lowlight did a write up on the 5-20 US that gave high marks in about every category. That will give more color & knowledge than could I. The proportions just work for my eyeballs when paired with a Spuhr Mount on a large frame.

    Am I discouraged?

    After a spat with well known SD TT dealer, when I was signed out things ran fine. But when I signed in the Hide was slower than a slug on salt. I discovered I’d been discouraged.

    mitutoyo digital caliper- Are they really worth it?

    Same as OP. Everything right handed but dominant eye. Even shoot a bow righty. But for any sort of dynamic shooting a lefty gun is worth the headache of trying to navigate the limited lefty selection. The lefty market sucks (getting better). Because so many make do with wrong handed guns...

    Giraud trimmer issues

    My Giraud is 5-6 years old & it has a black motor. I don’t recall any instructions saying to oil the bearing? Oops. That being said, I love my trimmer. Easy peasy & quick, I bought the Whidden click ring & a box of nylon gloves. Changed my trimming life!
