Suppressors AR15 Suppressor
Old or not, I’m really happy with my RC2. The complete system with the suppressor, bootleg carrier and PRI gas buster really tames the gas and the poi shift was only 1.4 Mils straight down. Definitely not “quiet” on an 11.3” 5.56, but it does reduce the sound, flash and blast considerably.- Jackalope

Suppressors Bushwhacker 46
I’ve got a silencerco hybrid 46 on back order. From what I hear, changing the pistons is a bit of a pain but silencer shop’s video on the suppressor seems favorable overall. I plan to run it mostly on sub sonic stuff so the modularity is worth it for me over chasing every decibel of sound reduction.- Jackalope

Gunsmithing Recommendation for 1911 parts
I’ve been working on a build and have been really happy with Wilson’s bulletproof parts. The concealment grip safety was easy to fit with their jig and the thumb safety and mag catch only needed minor fitting. Slide stop was straight drop in and came notched for easy reassembly from the factory.- Jackalope

Prolonged blurry vision in non-dominant/non-scope eye? Is my focus off?
Good post above. I recently got a new prescription and the optometrist wasn’t fully able to correct my left eye. My brain had a really hard time adjusting to it and it took me hours of messing with my NX-8 over a couple weeks to get the diopter right.- Jackalope

Really like the 165s in .308. They shoot consistently with the 168smk and worked well for me on the elk I shot this season. Neck shot on the elk left it’s head hanging on mostly by esophagus. Putting it in the shoulder would definitely fuck that quarter so avoid that if possible.- Jackalope
