    Re: Duracoat and stencils One way to minimize build up is to spray across your stencil, not into the edge of it. You could as noted above, hit it with a fine grit emery paper, or better yet steel wool,them flat coat it, the steel wool might leave an acceptable finish without the clear. Curt
