    Is there a reason you’re wanting CF? Unless I was using it for a mountain hunt, I would think a heavier setup would be better for minimizing movement and absorbing recoil. Pardon my ignorance, I’ve only shot off a tripod a couple of times.

    After using both, I prefer the LR if you’re going to shoot multiple guns on the same day. I got tired of swapping the mounts out on the MS every time I wanted to shoot a different rifle. Both units performed great though.

    I haven’t had a chance to take it out at low light, but my MK5 5-25 does great. I’m sure with the smaller obj, some clarity will be lost, but it’s not an issue for me as I use the MK5’s as match optics, not for hunting.

    I see that now. I’m actually moving back to a traditional stock and getting rid of my MPA, or I would order on of their inserts to try.

    I’m running a Mk5 3-18 on one of my bolt guns and have been pleased with it. Did a tracking test and have repeatedly dialed out to 1400 and back with no issues. Weight is a big factor for me, and illuminated reticles aren’t, so that made the choice easy for me.

    I've got the exact same setup, and other than having to figure my wind holds in MOA, I love it! It's mounted on a 28 nosler with the CDS dial for 195 bergers

    Airsoft BB's work great and don't hold moisture, if you shoot in wet climates often. I've got a couple of bags filled with them and they are a good balance of lightweight but still firm.

    Im running a proof bull (1.25”) with plenty of clearance in the dual strike. I’m not sure what the clearance is for their lighter profile chassis’
