    Mine says IG under radio service industrial/business So I definitely need to take the exam to get my amateur/ ham license. Just a quick search of my local clubs ,they say testing suspended cuz of covid ,but I'm sure there is some sort of online resource to take the test ? For technician?

    So I have the gmrs license (got it for business use) the fcc did assign me a callsign and a block of uhf frequencies for our business. My question is am I allowed to hop on ham frequencies (2m and 70cm) and repeaters and talk since I have a callsign? Or am I restricted to the gmrs frequencies?

    Definitely post your thoughts after running the hellcat thru a few range sessions. I've been looking at either a 365 or a hellcat for EDC. And since 2020 blows ,I can't fondle each of these side by side at gun store to see what feels better. The hellcat does seem intriguing 🤔

    Razor vs pst2 is night and day imo. I had the pst2 and felt like it was lacking at distance in the glass dept. I got the razor 2 and the difference in just the glass was considerably better in the razor. If your budget us around 1500 there is no reason not to get the razor, you will be pleased...

    John Lovells take on bugging out, or dig in. Key points being if you plan on trying to defend a home in the suburbs etc or even property , it needs to be more than you and your wife defending it. It's not realistic for you to run security 24/7.

    Oh yeah I figured those first two were toast I chucked them in the garbage already. I'll have to keep playing with it cuz now I don't think I'm getting any crimp at all. I can't visibly see anything on the case mouth indicating a crimp
