You missed the point of my post. The call was after the date they gave me and was for an update only . The disappointment was in the curt one word answer. Mike explained the delay and I am more than willing to wait. Thanks again Mike for your response.

I have new glass. I have a new bipod. I have a new rifle case. I have a new Kestrel. I have a cabinet full of ammo. I did not say I was Mad. I said I was disappointed with a curt one word answer when I asked for an update on the progress of my rifle after the date they gave me passed. Was I...

I understand Covid. But why the one word answer after 11 weeks. Why not we are having trouble getting your barrel made or that Grayboe is behind on shipping? If they knew it was going to be 3 or so more weeks delay then why no a quick email note to notify me?

Just a little disappointed in VGW today. I have wanted a Vudoo V-22 rifle for awhile now. So I've read every thing I could find. Watched every Video I could find. Read every review I could find and read 6500+ posts on this thread. Then on June 10th I pulled the trigger and ordered my Dream Vudoo...

    Weighing ammo

These are my findings to a T. Plus it makes me feel the rest is up to me. I have found that sorting by rim thichness and weight has greatly reduced my one off flyers. That alone makes it worthwhile.

I agree with your friend on the importance of weight over rim thickness. I sort the rim thickness first to narrow down the rounds to weigh as weighing is more tedious. I then save the end result both of rim and weight segregation for matches and train with the same rim thickness but out of the...

Usually the more you spend the more rounds you get in the same rim thickness and weight in the same batch. Thus the more of the same rims. I have found that the actual thickness matters less than that you shoot the same rim thickness and weight for consistency. You need to zero your scope for...

I have been using this gauge for years now and what it does for me is eliminate fliers. I sort by rim thickness and use the predominant rim thickness and weigh that group. I set that predominant group aside and shoot the rest of the same rim thickness as practice ammo. Having already found the...

Me too. My glass, Rings, ammo, and Bore Tech V-22 Bore guide. Waiting on receipt of my Vudoo to get a final measurement to order my rod. I have read every post in this link all 6200+ of them. What a resource and testament to this company and it's great people!

I too use the C-4 Carbon cleaner from Bore Tech and the new 26" long Stainless Steel Teslong USB borescope from Amazon. A great deal for $80. I have seen the dreaded "Carbon Ring". I now use a Nylon bore brush wrapped with a cotton patch soaked in C-4 carbon cleaner on a short piece of cleaning...

I shoot it in my Kidd Supergrade and my Anschuts 64 MPR and it shoots as good as anything at 50 and 100 yards. That's as far as I've shot so far. Waiting on my Vudoo to get here to go out farther.
