    I recommend putting blue or 603 green loctite on the rail screws and on the bottom of the rail. This will help when the rail is mounted to seal the rail/receiver interface and prevent rust in-between.

    Everybody thinks a new bullet or a new cartridge will fix their hunting problem. Spent time shooting more, get a cartridge with less recoil so you can shoot better, and hunt where the animals are.

    Well, if you broke both shoulders and put a hole in the heart then it is obvious, by your own admission, that a bigger caliber wouldn't have helped. It still would have run. If you want a DRT you will need to use HE. Once again, if you transect vitals, the animal will die.
