    Re: rem.700 VTR or rem 700 SPS Varmint The SPS Tactical 308 is a 1/12 twist. Where did you read that it is 1/10 twist? The 1/12 twist will do fine for the 175 gr bullets, but the 1/10 will do better. The difference should be marginal until you get out past about 650 yards or so.
