Re: Ballistic Prediction Comparison DTA 3000yd Shots Jerry1, There are several things to consider when making a lathe turned projectile. First is the material. How does the material act under pressure, extreme heat and friction. Second, what is the internal ballistics, does the bullet...

    Gunsmithing Newbie quesiton about stocks

Re: Newbie quesiton about stocks I shaved mine down and them filled with bondo. Be careful and go slow, once you get past the shell the foam shaves very quickly. It is still stable and strong. give it a try and you will be surprised what you can do.

Sidearms & Scatterguns What is the Ultimate Combat Pistol? Make your case

Re: What is the Ultimate Combat Pistol? Make your case Any hand gun you can shoot accuratly and on instinct. There is no special combat hand gun. I have seen people with thier combat hand gun empty a 15 round mag, under stress and not hit anything at 10 feet. Look at the police officers...

    F T/R Competition Supressors

Re: Supressors XTR, I can understand your fustration. They need a supressor class. One problem with the brake is not the noise, its the over pressure. It really bothers some people. If they are firing just a little after you they think that will cause them to flinch and pull the shot. I...

    .375 Cheytac questions

Re: .375 Cheytac questions Crosshairs6, I would start with the RL 25, 128 gr up to 132 gr. This will build pressure fast, but you should find the accuracy node in this range. The velocity should be around 3000 fps or better. Stay away from the Retumbo. It is a great powder in cases that are...
